Finding the right support for you and your relationships

Deciding to begin therapy is a personal step, and it's important to know what to expect, both in terms of how we work together and the practical arrangements.

I aim to make the process as straightforward and comfortable as possible.

Individual Therapy

£75 — 60 minutes

Individual sessions last one hour, including your first appointment.

We can meet in person in Lincoln or online, whichever works best for you.

Couples & Family Therapy

Initial session: £200 — 2 hours
Subsequent sessions: £150 — 90 minutes

When working with couples and families, I always allow two hours for our first session.

This gives us time to get to know one another, explore what has brought you to therapy and begin understanding the difficulties you're experiencing, without feeling rushed.

Subsequent sessions are usually 90 minutes, allowing us time to explore things in depth and work towards meaningful change.

Sessions are available in person in Lincoln or online.

The Safe Hands Intensive

£2,300 — Two consecutive days

The Safe Hands Intensive offers couples an opportunity to step away from everyday demands and devote focused time to understanding their relationship.

We work together over two consecutive days, with seven hours scheduled each day, including breaks.

The fee includes preparation and questionnaires before we meet, personalised materials to take away, lunch and refreshments.

Intensives take place in person only.

Before booking an Intensive, I arrange a complimentary 30-minute consultation with both partners so we can explore whether this approach is suitable for you.

A 50% deposit of £1,150 secures your booking, with the remaining balance due three weeks before the Intensive.

Some couples find it helpful to arrange further sessions after their Intensive. These are entirely optional and charged at the usual couples therapy rate of £150 for 90 minutes.

Arranging Your First Appointment

Taking the first step towards therapy can sometimes feel daunting, particularly when you're experiencing difficulties in your relationships.

I like to have an initial conversation with new clients before arranging an appointment. This gives us an opportunity to talk briefly about what has brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for and whether I'm the right person to help.

It's also a chance for you to ask any questions about how I work and what to expect.

If we feel that working together would be helpful, we can then arrange your first session.

You're very welcome to get in touch, even if you're not quite sure where to begin.
